NSW In Home Care for Early Childhood (NSWIHC) is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to supporting communities throughout New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) by providing an educative model that reflects best practice in early education and care for suitable families in the In Home Care program.

We broker In Home Care places throughout NSW and ACT to approved Service Providers who have demonstrated a commitment to overseeing the best aspects of childcare provision within their community.

Our Mission

We value the Family, providing specifically tailored early learning programs to meet individual child and family needs. We promote a sense of belonging for all children and families, where open honest communication is at the forefront. We recognise the importance of working in partnership with families and the community, through the genuine sharing of knowledge, ideas and growing skills.

Our values are:

Trust and Security

Cultivating secure and trusting relationships with the child, family and the broader community.

Creating a home-based learning environment that upholds best practices in childcare. Advocating for children’s rights is a core value for NSW In Home Care as an early childhood educational leader.

Respect and Diversity

Respecting the diversity of our families’ cultural identities and beliefs, NSW In Home Care respects every child as an individual and acknowledges the enduring influence parents and guardians have in their children’s lives.

Home is where our heart is.

NSWIHC remains current on issues involving early education and care by strengthening our relationships within local communities and continued professional development for staff members. We promote children’s learning and development by supporting our IHC educators in their ECEC practice, and we invite parents and guardians to be part of their children’s early education, empowering families to give regular feedback about our service delivery.
